The Groeve achter Villa Rozenheuvel ("quarry behind Villa Rozenheuvel") is a marl quarry in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul in South Limburg. The underground quarry is located on the west side of Valkenburg on the Plenkertstraat in Plenkert on the northern edge of the Margraten Plateau in the transition to the Geuldal. At the site, the plateau plunges steeply for several meters. The quarry is located directly behind Villa Rozenheuvel.

The western entrance to the Plenkert quarry, Loisel quarry, the Alpha quarry and the Bergkelders Villa Alpha are located approximately 65, 125, 180 and 200 meters to the southeast respectively. Further to the west are the flint mines of Valkenburg and the Roman Catacombs in the Heide quarry.

The quarries were mined by block crushers for the extraction of limestone blocks, but the period in which this took place is not known.

The quarry has numerous corridors with a combined corridor length of approximately 40 meters and an area of ​​approximately 215 square meters.

The quarry is carved into the Schiepersberg Limestone from the Maastricht Formation.
