Structure: Low Monoclinal Dip Of About 10 Ft/Mi. Sw Off Of The Waurika-Muenster Arch
Tectonics: Interior Basin; Deltaic Red Bed Margin
Deposit: Malachite occurs in a reddish-brown and greenish-gray ss., with manganese stains and malachite. Ditch or prospect dug in NE direction. O.f. Evans had a report filed with the ogs on the randlett mining co. Branson, burwell, and chase (1955, p. 15) mention this. Merritt, dott, ham, and eben ryan (1940) give location on matthews farm. A pit was dug about 1930, according to mrs. Matthews. Malachite in ss. Was found in a small gully, striking ne, which was probably the prospect.
Development: About 1930 a ditch or prospect was dug, apparently in a NE direction.
Geology: Geology by munn (1914) and havens (1977).
