Deposit: Buff-colored flaggy sandy siltstone with hematite oxidation rings along bedding and fracture surfaces, mostly red to light brown colors, with some purple. Possibly gold-bearing carbonaceous shale. Development: New claim markers, "moriah claims" (1984). This is in the same area As some 1981 claims owned by james brodshaw-claims probably staked for gold
