Structure: Fractures

Deposit: Buff-colored flaggy sandy siltstone with hematite oxidation rings along bedding and fracture surfaces, mostly red to light brown colors, with some purple. Possibly gold-bearing carbonaceous shale. Piles of burned trash at site; looks As if copper-or aluminum wire/trash has been burned to remove insulation; activity unrelated to mineral occurrence. ; info.src : 3 field observ

Development: New claim markers, "moriah claims" (1984). This is in the same area As some 1981 claims owned by james brodshaw-claims probably staked for gold
