Alteration: Argillization

Deposit: Oxide copper minerals and iron and Mn oxides occur along a probable shear zone in greenstone and chert of the pumpernickel or havallah fms. Similar mineralization is present in a possible low-angle north-trending fault zone in a small pit SW of the main shaft. Little obvious hydrothermal alteration; the greenstone may be locally argillized. Malachite and azurite along faults that strike NW and n-s in chert and greenstone associated with quartz monzonite porphyry intrusives ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 3 field observ

Deposit type: Polymetallic veins

Development: Worked in early 1900's, with old tailings from this era in a small wash east of the shaft. No activity in 1984.

Rock formation(s): Pumpernickel Formation
