Quartz crystals with finely dispersed asphaltum inclusions (not smoky quartz) from vugs and fissures in upper Triassic limestones on Lumkofel mountain. Also lilac fluorite.
Located about 3 km NNE of Liesing in the Lesach valley (upper Gail valley). Similar occurrences are noted from the nearby Pallas stream, from Ladstatt and from Hochstadel mountain.
