Extends to the Osiek mine. It is about 18 km long and approximately 2 km wide. It is located within an elongated and uplifted Staszów–Osiek-Baranów Sandomierski tectonic block terminated from the SW by the Strzegom Fault. The deposit occurs at depths from ∼ 100 m (NW part of the O–BS) to ∼ 260 m (SE part of the O–BS). Its thickness varies from several to about 46 m, and the average grade of sulfur ore is 29 wt% sulfur.
