Radzyń is a hamlet of Podgórki village, before 1945 mining grant for graphite 'Komet 1'.
Occurance of graphite in series of The Radzimowicc schists, part of low-grade Kaczawskie metamorphic complex composed of metasediments and metavolcanics of Cambrian up to Early Carboniferous (Visean) age.
Note: There is a difference in the literature regarding the genesis and nomenclature of the Radzimowice series, in older works the term 'slates' is used, after the latest research the official name is Radzimowice schists.
