The "Kleiputten van Heist" is a nature reserve in the town of Heist, which belongs to the West Flemish municipality of Knokke-Heist.
The area, which is located in low-lying polder land, got its final shape through the extraction of clay for the brick industry in the 1950s and 1970s. It is 22 hectares in size and consists of meadows with swamps, reed beds and the like. Waterfowl, amphibians and bats live here.
The Isabellavaart stream also runs through the area.
In the north, the clay pit area connects to the Sashul and Vuurtorenweiden nature reserves.
