The Svend Pedersen Collection contains a bornite/chalcocite specimen labelled as "Siso" without any further details. The NGU has been prospecting for copper ore north of Sisovatnet, and one might speculate that some copper mineralisation is the source of this specimen.
The coordinates are for the lake.
The specimen consists of small grains of the ore minerals in a fine-grained matrix of quartz/feldspar/tremolite (?) with subhedral mica/clinochlore (?), sometimes with a fuchsite-green colour. Some of the ore grains seem to display crystal faces.
