Mineralogy:
Pseudomorphs after evaporative minerals (halite, gypsum), and septaria with calcite.
Septarian concretion occurrence are located mostly on the slope of the Kaczawa valley. The best ones are found at:
(a) Occurrence 1 - starting at the intersection point of road from Nowy Kościół to Jastrzębnik, approximately 200 m along north slope of that road. The exposures are at the top of the scarp;
(b) Occurrence 2 - 700 m north from the end of Nowy Kościół, on the west side of road to Złotoryja.
