The LiDAR map shows this mine to be a group of several pits with underground workings. Several tailings are visible. From 1913-14 the english company Ofoten Malmfelt ran this mine, while in 1917-23 the german company Beer Sonderheim worked the mine.
In 1976 Rana Gruber and in 2012-14 the NGU studied this deposit.
From the NGU datasheet: "The ore occurs in several layers and lenses of semimassive ore, varying in thickness from less than 2 meters and up to c. 10 meters, typically separated by amphibolitic layers often with magnetite impregnation. The total thickness of the mineralized zone varies from c. 10 meters to 100-200 meters."
