Structure: Gentle Dip Of 30 Ft/Mi Or Less To Nnw, Off Bend Arch.
Tectonics: Interior Basin; Deltaic Red Bed Margin
Deposit: This could occur over a wider area. Schmitz (1897, p. 106-107, fig. 5) said that this was 2.5 mi ESE of archer city on the road to windhorst. The closest place that fits his description, and section and map, is on the j. Scott survey, about 1400 ft N W of hwy. 25, about 2.5 mi ese of archer city. No legal description was given.
Development: Schmitz (1897, p. 106-107) said that most of the copper was picked up several years before 1897.
Geology: Geology by nickell (1932), romer (1974), hentz and brown (1987), and hentz (1988).
