Bocchetta di Gattascosa, Bognanco, Provincia del Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Piemonte, Italia


Marble exposure to the north of Cima Verosso, in the area immediatly below Bocchetta di Gattascosa pass (2158 m) towards Lago Ragozza. A yellowish, crystalline, brecciated dolostone, which is slightly mineralized (malachite, azurite, hematite) is found at the base of the marble formation.
