Professor Esmark worked this deposit in 1810-11. Minor prospecting was done in 1909, 1916 and 1918.
The prospects can be clearly seen at the LIDAR map as 4 parallel, elongated pits, orientated in NE-SW direction.
The main prospect measures 17x1,5-2m, extending into a 10m long shaft.
The mineralisations occur as bornite/chalcocite in connection with quartz lenses and epidotized amphibolite.
