Magnetite ore deposit with a thickness of 0,6 m, locally 1-2 m with a maximum of 5 m over a length of 320 m. The report mentions a 70m long trench (prospect) intersecting 7 separate ore layers of 0,6-2 m wide 100 m south of the Orlihaugen summit. However, the LiDAR map shows several other features that are possibly mining-related in the direct vicinity.
In ca. 1912 three holes with a total length of 157,2 m were drilled, of which 20 m intersected ore.
