From the NGU report:
"The Misværdal occurrence is a late-Ordovician to Silurian multiphase pyroxenite intrusive complex. In mineralised pyroxenite portions, apatite and allanite constitute the major and minor REE minerals, respectively. The apatite of the occurrence has attracted interest as a basic product suitable for the production of fertilizer."
The reserves are estimated to be 30 Mt.
