Structure: Roberts Mountain Thrust Fault Marked By Jasperoid

Alteration: Silicification, Fe Oxidation

Tectonics: Antler Orogen Overprinted By High Angle Basin And Range Extension.

Development: A 30 x 20' open pit reaching a maximum depth of 8; also a jig plant

Geology: A barite unit occurs in mudstones, cherts and limestones of the ordivician vinini fm. (?). The unit is 12' thick and strikes n10w, 40w. Part of the unit is good quality, the rest is comprised of gossan and jasperoid that contains some barite, and brecciated mudstone and igneous rock. The barite is the in bedded, yellow brown in color and fetid. Some large, radiating crystals are present locally and feoxs are abundant on fracture surfaces. Monor quartz is present.
