This locality is often mislabelled as "Jianshan Mine", but after research and contacted the person in charge of the wulfenite finds here, it is another different locality at the uplifted ravine surrounded by Gobi, and it's different from the famous Jianshan Mine.

Jianshan Mine has been produced wulfenite since 2003 while Kuruktag Mountains has only started mining since 2009 till 2013 according to the miner, Mr. Chen. (Statement proved by miner himself as well as Chinese mineral dealer John from mineralcrystal.com.)

In most circumstances, wulfenite from the famous Jianshan Mine is more likely to be in red while those from Kuruktag Mountains are usually in orange and in bladed morphology, while red can be seen as well but not much.
