A former Ag-Pb-Zn-Au-Cu occurrence/mine located in the SE¼SW¼NW¼ sec. 11, T23N, R18W, G&SRM, 2 miles SE of Chloride and 2.3 miles W of Cherum Peak, on Bureau of Land Management and/or land of unspecified mixed ownership. The propeerty is comprised of 2 claims: The Blackfoot and Goldback (or Lone Jack). Previous owners and operators include Union Basin Mining, McNeely and Brown, Harry Lennox, Belding and Price, Road and Howe, Lenon, Hughs, and Snyder. Owned & operated by H.C. Lennox, Arizona (1947). Owned by Louise Hughes, Arizona (1947). Operated 1901 to 1948. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granite. The ore body strikes N30-35W and dips 74SW at a thickness of 1.22 meters (4 feet). Sulfide ore is present below the 130 foot level; oxidized ore above. Mineralization is associated with a Late Cretaceous porphyry intrusion. Sulphide ore is present below the 130 foot level oxidized above. Associated rocks include Neoproterozoic granite. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic granitic rocks.

Regional geologic structures include Precambrian schistosity that strikes N30E. Late Cretaceous veins, fissures, and dikes strike NW to NNW regionally

Workings include underground openings with a length of 281.94 meters and an overall depth of 39.62 meters. The Lone Jack claim was developed with a 150 foot shaft with 250 feet of drifting and a 200 foot tunnel. The Blackfoot claim has an inclined shaft 200 feet deep with 125 feet of drifting.

Production statistics: Year: 1946: ore (accurate): ^4.35% Pb, 5.39% Zn, 0.23% Cu, 0.19 ounce Au/ton, 2.75 ounces Ag/ton.
