Deposit: This mine may include the atwood/atwood hill-henry clay mine: valedon mine & the waldo mine; all of these mines are located in the same area, approx. 3 to 5 milis s W of the town of lordsburg, NE W mexico. Randol mining directory, 1996/97 lists mine under both the lordsburg and goldfield-hidalgo name. Randol mining directory 1994/95 lists these two mines separately. Mine is on stand-by (temp-shutdown) As of 1994. Ore is shipped to near by smelters As precious metals bearing flux. The property covers about 12000 acres.
