A former colliery, part flooded. Formerly operated by the Maryd Coal Mining Company Inc.
Coal mined was anthracite.
Located in the village of Maryd.
Six miners were killed in an overhoist accident in the tower of the south hoistway in the Main Shaft of the Mary "D" on 29 May 1914.
