Deposit: Comprising the golden eagle, golden queen mineralized zone contains 2 belts of white outcrops representing a subzone of movement, deposition, & silicification. May represent the NW extension of the pavlak. Outcrops are quartz and silicified white rhyolite. Outcrops dip steeply to west. Opened in 1910 by a 50-ft shaft ; info.src : 1 pub lit
Geology: Rhyolite also contains black obsidian and younger dikes deposits are in a compound fault zone several hundred feet wide, outcropping for a length of over 600ft
