The "Friedrich Ernestine" coal mine was located in the district Stoppenberg of Essen, Ruhr coal mining area / Germany.

First activation: 1871.
Merger with the "Victoria Mathias"" coal mine and the "Graf Beust" coal mine in 1957 to form the new "Victoria Mathias, Graf Beust & Friedrich Ernestine" coal mine.
Cessation of coal production in 1963, abandoned in 1963.
