Deposit: Vein-replacements along fault. 25 x 8 x 60 ft deep; 0 x 7 x 60 ft. Deep the darkey mine shipped manganese ore during 1917 and 1918. The manganese ore bodies occur As vein-replacements along a n-striking fault. The ore shoot mined was 25 ft long, 8 ft wide, by 60 ft deep. The ore shipped was about 45% manganese, and less than 5% cilica. A second ore shoot was 20 ft long, 7 ft wide, and 60 ft deep. The black rock (probably some mine, NE W name) shipped a small tonnage of manganese ore in 1952. ; info.src : 1 pub lit
