An asbestos prospect located in sec. 31, T5N, R18E, on the East side of the I.S. Hole Canyon, about 2/3 mile South of the canyon's mouth, and 2 miles SE of the highway 77 bridge, and about 2¼ miles NE of Seneca, in the NW portion of the San Carlos Reservation.
Mineralization is an asbestos-bearing serpentine band in an 8 foot thick segment of Mescal Limestone, above diabase intrusive. The asbestos horizon is about 5 feet above the lower diabase contact. Chrysotile is ½ to ¾ inch of harsh fiber.
Workings include a cut.
Assay data: Only ½ to ¾ inch of harsh to semi-harsh fiber is exposed in the pit.
