Old feldspar quarry/mine. At an aerial photo of 2015 it is possible to see a water-filled pit, though on the relief map it is not a convincing structure at all. 85 m to the W there seems to be the adit of a mine at: 58.96492,9.22678. The Norwegian map confirms the presence of a mine, and at a certain zoom level the word "feltspatgruve" (feldspar quarry) pops up.
The name is based on a placename nearby.
