Located on the west slope of Big Creek approximately 3.2 miles (5.2 kilometers) west-northwest of Osburn, Idaho.

Host Rock(s): Quartzite, Diabase
Structure(s): Osburn Fault (very close to the south)

Other Information: Claims included Elgin, Elgin No. 2, Ogden, Ogden No. 2, and Ogden Fraction. Eventually Elgin No. 2 and Ogden No. 2 were given up in a merger. Part of the claims fell in the Yreka Mining District and part within the Evolution Mining District. The final holdings were withing the Evolution Mining District so this locality is put into the Evolution District. Workings consisted of two tunnel approximately 500 feet apart (and on the same level) with a total of nearly 1,000 lineal feet of workings.
