Mineralization is a vein deposit that strikes NE-ward and dips 85ºSE and forms a stringer lode with a prominent outcrop some 1,800 feet (600 meters) long by 20 to 35 feet (6 to 11 meters) wide. The stringers consist mainly of granular white quartz with platy calcite.
The country rock is coarse-grained, gneissic granite, cut by numerous narrow dikes of rhyolite-porphyry, forming rugged topography. Locally NW- to NNW-trending normal faulting. Tertiary flows strike NW and dip 30º to 40º NE, and overlie Precambrian granite and gneiss.
Workings include a 500 foot deep shaft (1915-16) and some drifting on the 200 foot level.
