A former underground Pb-Ag-Au-Mo mine located 2¾ miles SE of Mineral Park and 6¾ miles SE of Chloride at about 5,300 feet of altitude. Started 1901 and reopened 1905-1907. Closed 1909.
Mineralization is a vein that strikes N.37ºW. and dips 75ºSW and occurs in gneissic granite. It is about 40 feet wide and consists mainly of altered, brecciated aplite, locally cemented by quartz. The ore occurs mainly near the hanging wall. Precambrian schistosity strikes N30ºE. Veins, fissures and dikes strike NW to NNW regionally.
Ore averaged 17.5% Pb, 8 oz. Ag/T and 3.16 oz. Au/T (1907).
