A Au-Ag-Pb mine located on the East side of Lynx Creek, across the summit of the Mountain to West of Big Bug Creek. 500 feet from Walker, or the North portal of the railroad tunnel. Owned by Messrs. Rice, Elliott Brothers & Co.
Mineralization is a gold-quartz vein with Ag-Pb (up to 30% Pb & Ag). A rich vein.
Started 1864. Workings include 2 tunnels (290 feet and 170 feet long, respectively) and a 100 foot deep shaft (1881). A Mill was operated on Lynx Creek.
