A Ag-Au occurrence/group of claims located in the NE¼NE¼ sec. 5, T19N, R20W, G&SRM, between Silver Creek and the Hardy vein, on Bureau of Land Managaement administered land. Owned by W. H. Hittson, Arizona (1957). Owned by James MaCarthy, Arizona (time frame not stated). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.
Times micrographic granite-porphyry. Vein is a zone of quartz and silicified rock from 60 to 80 feet wide, with iron- and manganese-stained outcrops. Local rocks include Middle Miocene to Oligocene granitic rocks.
