A former Au-Ag-Pb-V-Mo-Zn-Fluorspar occurrence/mine located in the SE¼ sec. 33, T30N, R17W, G&SRM, 15 miles S of Pierce Ferry, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. Owned by E. E. Putman, Arizona (1975). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a Au deposit hosted in gneiss. Coarse gold of detrital concentration was originally deposited on ferruginous carbonate. The ore body strikes NE and dips 20W. The vein strikes N18E, dips 80WNW and swells to at least 2 meters thick about 15 meters South of the shaft headframe. Massive milky-white quartz is present with some brecciated and recemented zones. Host rocks are a sequence of granitoid gneiss within the mapped paragenesis unit. Controls for ore emplacement included amphibolite metasediments & granitoid plutons (veins), leucosyenite & fluorspar (disseminated). Associated rocks include Pliocene syenite. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic metamorphic rocks.
