A former underground Au-Ag-Pb-Zn-Cu mine located in East-central sec. 9 & West-central sec. 10, T.18S., R.11E., on land of unknown status. Owned at times, or in part, by McGee; and the Sierrita Mining & Ranching Co. (1956).
Mineralization is spotty, partly oxidized base metal sulfides in quartz fissure zone in Triassic and Cretaceous volcanics, cut by laramide andesite dikes. Near-surface enrichment of gold and silver.
Workings include shallow shafts and adits. Small intermittent production from 1921 to 1956, of some 170 tons of ore averaging about 1 oz. Au/T, 3 oz. Ag/T, 1% Pb and minor Cu.
