A former surface and underground W-Baryte mine located in the center of sec. 34, T.15S., R.4E. (protracted), a short distance east of San Luis village and wind mill and south of the Coyote Hole group. A small prospect, not described by Dale etal 1961; only approximately located. Produced 1939. Relocated and owned by M. Kyriak & Marshall Bartlett in 1937.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with an irregular coarsely-crystalline, grayish-white quartz and barite vein with scattered and spotty wolframite and scheelite cutting Cretaceous (?) andesite flows. The vein strikes N.60ºE. and dips 70ºNW at 6 to 10 inches (15 to 25 cm) wide.

Workings are comprised of an open cut and a shallow incline and are 30.48 meters long overall. An open cut is about 100 feet long and has a shallow incline. A small amount of hand-picked tungsten ore was produced in 1939-1940.
