Structure: Wichita Mountains Lugert Granite Intrusion

Tectonics: Aulacogen

Deposit: About 1300 ft nne of highest top of mountain (elevation 2411 ft)

Geology: Polk (1948, map) first showed this prospect pit on a map. No discussion is given. If this copper was being weathered in permian time, this deposit could have been a source for copper in flowerpot-duncan-san angelo seas. Merritt (1958) shows geology of area.
