C.D.A. West Fork consisted of two adits and tunnels Adit 1 tunnel being 300 feet and Adit 2 tunnel being 400 feet. The mine was located about 1-1/2 miles (2.4 kilometers) up the West Fork of Moon Creek (approximately 4.2 miles (6.8 kilometers) north east of Kellogg, Idaho). According to Idaho State Mine Reports dated 1950 the mine was located in the Pritchard Formation.
