Structure: Sw Flank Of Southeast Plunging Anticlinal Fold En Echelon Fault Zone Up Ot 350 Ft Wide, Striking Nw.
Commodity: General analytical data from w.n. Mcanulty, 1978 p.48.
Deposit: Main deposit occurs in a northwest trending fluorite-jasperoid body. Deposit is on s W flank of flat top mtn., a se-plunging anticline. The claims lie 2 abreast in a nw-se direction astride an en echelon fault zone. Most of the faults have a stratigraphic thro W of less than 50 ft. The fluorite-bearing jasperoid occurs along the contact of the nakaye and overlying bar b formations. The jasperoid is cut by fractures oblique to the fault zone that have localized the fluorite. The fluorite is most abundant 3-5 ft belo W top of jasperoid. The downdip exposure of jasperoid has a width of 60-200 ft with about 2000 ft strike length. The average fluorite content is 20% with local pods of 35% caf2. Fluorite occurs within at least 1 fissure vein (6-8 ft wide) in a fault zone. Fluorite is green and crystalline; vein is 40-50% caf2. 9 unpatented claims covering about 180 acres.
