These were in the SE. 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of section 35. Galena was found at depths of a few feet, in a spongy, fossiliferous chert, partly broken, and the fragments cemented by galena. This breccia was from 6 ins. to 2 ft. thick, and lay horizontally above limestone of irregular surface, with red or brown clay or loam separating the two and filling the inequalities of the limestone.
