These were in the NE. 1/4 of the SW. 1/4 of section 12 of the same township (45N, 15W.). A shaft 120 ft. deep penetrated broken, soft magnesian limestone, containing large pockets of galena, and also pockets filled with barite and clay. In the lower 80 ft. only traces of galena were found.
