Fürstenstollen
The Fürstenstollen (Fürsten adit) - St Paul vein is something special in the district.
The vein is located in the beginning of the Rauenthal on the Neuenberg but exploited the vein in the Altenberg.
The vein is renowned for excellent, very shiny, black sphalerite crystals.
Today, the entrance can be seen in the courtyard of the farm, located at the site. It was also the site of the "new processing plant" built in the early 1900s as they taught to strike rich silver ore.
The plant never produced an ounce of silver.
