A former small surface and underground Sb-W-Be-Mn mine located in East-central sec. 5, T.23S., R.18E, SW of the Canclo Hills, on National Forest land. Discovered 1957. Owned by De la Ossa & Lemas.

Mineralization is manganese oxides in narrow stringers and irregular pods in fractures and breccia in Jurassic welded tuff.

Workings include shaft and open cut operations. Worked in WWI and in the early 1950's, producing a few tens of tons of sorted 40-42% Mn.
