Coastal exposures of the Lower Greensand and Lower and Upper Gault clays, which are of cretaceous age (105-110ma).
The exposures are famous for their cretaceous fossils, but gypsum and other minerals can be found. Dangerous at high tides and you need to climb over rocks to get to the exposure which can be very slippery and dangerous when wet. PLEASE TAKE CARE!
