A former small surface and underground Zn-Pb-Ag-Cu-Au mine located in North-central sec. 3, T24S, R16E, W of Washington Gulch, Duquesne area, on National Forest land. Owned at times, or in part, by the Duquesne Mining & Reduction Co.; and the Nash Mines.

Mineralization is spotty, disseminated sphalerite, galena, and chalcopyrite, partly oxidized, in narrow pyrometasomatic lenses of Permian Naco Group limetone along the contact with Laramide granodiorite.

Workings include relatively shallow openings. Produced some 100 tons of ore averaging about 12% Zn, 7% Pb, 0.7% Cu, and 9 oz. Ag/T.
