A former small underground Ag-Au-Cu-Fe-Mn mine located in the SE¼ sec. 17, T23S, R11E, on National Forest land.
Mineralization is spotty, supergene enriched, silver and gold values in a weakly mineralized, lensing and tabular zone of brecciated and sheared Jurassic volcanic tuff showing iron and manganese staining.
Workings include tunnel and shaft operations. Worked sporadically in the past with a production of some 130 tons of ore averaging about 30 oz. Ag/T., 0.6 oz. Au/T and minor Cu.
