Fluorite
Formula: CaF2
Description: Fluorite is found as clear to green and sometimes purple masses in the host rock. The fluorite fluoresces blue, however some larger pieces have been found with no fluorescence. The fluorite was used as a flux in the steel-making industry in Japan.
