A Au-Ag-Pb-Zn-Fe-S (pyrite) occurrence/prospect located in the SW¼SE¼ sec. 36, T23N, R18W, G&SRM, 2.25 miles NW of Cerbat, on Bureau of LAnd Management administered or private land. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters. Same name, yet different mine than USGS MRDS ID #M004193.
Mineralization is a polymetallic deposit hosted in Neoproterozoic granite. The ore body strikes N-S and dips 70W. The mineralization is associated with a Lower Cretaceous porphyry intrusion. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic granitic rocks.
Regional geologic structures include Precambrian schistosity that strikes N30E. Lower Cretaceous veins, fissures, and dikes trend NW to NNW regionally.
