A small former underground Cu-Ag-Au-Pb-Fe group of mines located in the center of sec. 3, T9N, R15W, about 3 miles S of the Bill Williams River, on BLM-administered land. Owned at times, or in part, by Clara Consolidated Gold & Copper Mining Co.; Wilton-Grant Ores & Metals Co.; Reyco Development Corp. of Arizona; Tegler; and the Hayler Mining Industries. NOTE: Alternate coordinates provided: 34.15056N, 113.81667W; and 34.1514N, 113.8081W.

Mineralization is copper silicates and carbonates, minor chalcocite, and sparse leaf gold, with abundant calcite, quartz, gypsum and hematite along the contact between underlying Precambrian gneiss and an overlying band of Paleozoic limestone, capped by Laramide tuff and sandstone. The ore occurs above the gneiss in and above the conglomerate which marks the base of the tuff and sandstone sediments.

Workings include an inclined shaft and 2 adits totalling 60.96 meters in length and 15.24 meters deep. This mine group was worked sporadically from the early 1900's to the mid-1950's. They produced some 2,300 tons of ore averaging about 3% Cu and minor silver and gold.
