Quartz crystals on fields around Garmersreuth, Grafenreuth area and Hohe Warte (hill between Grafenreuth and Thiersheim). One kilometer SE of Grafenreuth some mine relics and dumps (old mine: 50°2'50''N 12°7'54''E) are visible. This place was good for quartz specimen in the 1980s.

A feldspar quarry was active 1840–1862.
