A former underground Pb-Ag-Cu-Au mine located in the NW¼NE¼SE¼ sec. 17, T3N, R17W, on land of unknown status. Owned at times, or in part, by Christian; Valenzuela; Mariquita Gold Mining Co. The Madden Pickining Mining Co. had unspecified involvement here (1964).

Mineralization is spotty cerussite, anglesite, galena, chrysocolla, malachite, and brochantite, with siderite, quartz, ankerite calcite and limonite in lensing replacement deposits in steeply dipping Paleozoic limestone beds. Cellular boxwork and vugs. Some native copper and chlorargyrite.

Workings include a shaft(s) and tunnel operations. This mine was worked in the late 1940's, early 1950's and in 1964. It produced some 51 tons of ore averaging about 25% Pb, 13 oz. Ag/T, 2% Cu and 0.02 oz. Au/T.
