A former surface and underground Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn-Mn-Fe mine located on 3 claims near the South base of the Harquahala Mountains in North-central & NW¼ sec. 29, T5N, R11W, about 16½ miles SE of Salome, on BLM-administered land. Discovered in 1932 by G. Meyers & J. Lazure. Owned by W. Neal & G. Meyers (1934). Owned at times, or in part, by Myers & Lazure; Johnson; Noblecheck & Hummel; Powell; Kast & Johnson; Howell; Seely & Johnson; Warren; Wilkinson & Walsh; and the Tulsa Minerals Corp.

Mineralization is free gold particles with silver in irregular cellular masses of limonite and calcite, local chrysocolla, oxidized lead and zinc minerals and manganese oxides in seams and tabular replacements along a SW-trending, steeply dipping fault or shear zone in Paleozoic or Mesozoic quartzite and silicified limestone. The ore body is tabular. The wall rock is intensely silicified with some sericitization.

Overthrust faulting in the district places Precambrian metamorphics over Paleozoic-Mesozoic sediments. Mineralization locally is associated with micro-diorite dikes 20 to 25 MY in age.

Workings include shaft, tunnel and open cut operations totaling 42.67 meters long and 60.96 meters deep. A 200 foot long tunnel connects with a stope about 140 feet long by 8 or 9 feet high and up to 20 feet wide. This deposit was located in 1932 and was mined somewhat sporadically through 1967. Production the first year was 22 cars of ore averaging $21.55 Au/T (period values). It produced some 1,775 tons of ore averaging about 0.95 oz. Au/T, 3.9 oz. Ag/T and minor Cu, Pb & Zn. In 1953-1954, several small lots of 20% Mn ore were shipped.
